Taylor Cassidy
I’m Taylor Cassidy and I’ve been dancing at the studio since I was two and now I take a wide variety of styles. I’ve had the honor of being able to compete on the ACE competition team for seven years. I also teach Junior Ballet and Lyrical classes. Having just graduated from Ephrata High School, I will be attending Lebanon Valley College in the fall to major in psychology and join the dance team in order to continue my dance training. I want to thank all my teachers who have inspired me and made me the dancer I am today. I’m so thankful for my ACE family and all their support as I enter this new chapter in my life.
Michaela Werner
My name is Michaela Werner and I am a 2022 graduate from Ephrata High School. I have been dancing at ACE Dance Academy since I was 3 years old. Having tried pretty much all styles of dance, I decided to stick with Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, and Pointe. Throughout the past couple of years, I have had the opportunity to be a student teacher as well. I also cheered all throughout middle and high school. I am planning on going to Penn State Berks this fall to study Spanish and eventually plan to study abroad. I look forward to continue teaching classes here at the studio.
Jania Weist
Jania recently graduated as valedictorian from Veritas Academy, a classical Christian school in Leola. She has been dancing at ACE since age 4, when she enrolled in ballet, tap, and acro. To this day, she still remembers the tap choreography to the chorus of Ice Cream Freeze that she learned in Kindergarten! Around age ten, she decided to focus solely on tap and praise dance. Jania always looked forward to her tap classes in the middle of the week as the one constant in her busy schedule, and she appreciated the catharsis she found from matching the intricate rhythms in the music to the sounds from her shoes. Next year, she will be majoring in Sport Management and playing tennis at Lancaster Bible College. She will take with her many fond memories from over a decade of dancing with her ACE family.
